 Breaking the Power of the Strong Man

Introduction

In every life, family, or destiny, there are unseen battles that rise to resist progress, peace, and divine purpose. The Bible reveals that behind many struggles lies a “strong man” — a demonic force or authority that guards people’s blessings, hinders breakthroughs, and keeps destinies in captivity.

Jesus said in Mark 3:27, “No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.” This means that before true freedom, deliverance, or restoration can come, the strong man must be identified, bound, and overcome by the power of God.

This declaration is made to confront and overthrow every strong man standing against your life, your family, your finances, your ministry, and your destiny. It is a spiritual warfare declaration to reclaim what the enemy has stolen and to walk in the total victory that Christ purchased through His blood.

Through these words of faith, you are enforcing your divine authority in Christ  declaring that every chain is broken, every gate is opened, and every demonic power is subdued under the mighty name of Jesus.

1. Declaration of Victory Over the Strong Man

Declaration:
I declare that every strong man assigned against my life and destiny is rendered powerless in the name of Jesus. Every demonic power holding my blessings, peace, or progress is defeated by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Confession:
I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord over my life and family. No strong man, no power of darkness, and no demonic authority can prevail against me. The Lord has given me victory through His name.

2. Declaration of Deliverance from Household Bondage

Declaration:
I declare that every household strong man standing against the progress of my family is bound and cast down in the name of Jesus. Every ancestral power resisting our destiny shall fall and never rise again.

Confession:
I confess that my family is free from every generational bondage. The blood of Jesus has broken every chain and destroyed every hidden altar speaking against our peace and prosperity.

3. Declaration of Freedom from Captivity

Declaration:
I declare that every strong man holding my health, finances, marriage, or ministry captive must release them now by the power of the Holy Ghost. I recover everything that has been stolen from me.

Confession:
I confess that I am no longer a slave to fear, oppression, or limitation. The Lord has set me free, and I walk in total liberty. Every chain of captivity is broken from my life and destiny.

Scripture:
“Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered…” — Isaiah 49:24–25 (KJV)

4. Declaration Against Territorial and Family Strongholds

Declaration:
I declare that every territorial strong man ruling over my family, my city, or my destiny loses power today. Every curse and demonic influence is overturned by the fire of the Holy Ghost.

Confession:
I confess that Jesus Christ reigns over my family and generation. Every throne of darkness collapses before the throne of grace. The kingdom of God reigns in our lives.

Scripture:
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” — Psalm 27:1 (KJV)

5. Declaration of Victory Through the Blood of Jesus

Declaration:
I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks victory, healing, and deliverance over my life. Every strong man and evil covenant loses its grip because of the power in the blood of the Lamb.

Confession:
I confess that I am covered and protected by the blood of Jesus. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. The blood of Jesus breaks every chain and silences every evil voice.

6. Declaration of Spiritual Authority

Declaration:
I declare that I carry divine authority to trample upon serpents, scorpions, and every power of the enemy. Every strong man standing in my way shall bow to the authority of Jesus Christ.

Confession:
I confess that I walk in divine power and authority. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above principalities and powers. No evil force can prevail against me.

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” — Luke 10:19 (KJV)

7. Declaration of Fire Against the Works of Darkness

Declaration:
I declare that the consuming fire of the Holy Ghost destroys every strong man’s altar working against my destiny. Every satanic gathering against my life and family is scattered by fire.

Confession:
I confess that the fire of God surrounds me and my family. No weapon of darkness can penetrate the shield of the Holy Ghost. I live under divine protection and power.

“For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.” — Deuteronomy 4:24 (KJV)

8. Declaration of Recovery and Restoration

Declaration:
I declare that I recover all that the strong man has stolen from me — my joy, peace, time, opportunities, and blessings. I take back everything by divine power.

Confession:
I confess that my season of restoration has come. God is giving me double for all my losses, and my joy shall overflow. Every delay is turning into divine acceleration.

Scripture:
“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten… and ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied.” — Joel 2:25–26 (KJV)

9. Declaration of Victory Over Evil Manipulation

Declaration:
I declare that every evil manipulation or monitoring spirit connected to the strong man is destroyed in Jesus’ name. I am hidden in Christ and far from every demonic interference.

Confession:
I confess that no evil hand can reach me or my family. The eyes of the Lord are upon us, and the presence of God surrounds us as a wall of fire.

Scripture:
“For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.” — Zechariah 2:5 (KJV)

10. Declaration of Permanent Freedom

Declaration:
I declare that my deliverance is permanent. The strong man has fallen, his chains are broken, and my destiny is restored. I walk in the freedom of the Holy Spirit every day of my life.

Confession:
I confess that he whom the Son sets free is free indeed. No power of darkness can enslave me again. My life and family belong to Jesus, and we walk in liberty forever.

Scripture:
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” — John 8:36 (KJV)

Final Summary Declaration and Confession

Declaration:
In the mighty name of Jesus, I declare total victory over every strong man operating in my life, my family, my destiny, and my generation. Every demonic authority, household power, or territorial spirit is subdued under the feet of Jesus. I receive divine freedom, breakthrough, and restoration in every area of my life. The Lord has gone before me and broken the gates of brass and bars of iron in pieces.

Confession:
I confess that Jesus Christ is my Deliverer and Defender. Every battle has been won through His power. I am free from oppression, stagnation, and bondage. My life, family, and future belong to God alone. From today, I walk in total victory, permanent deliverance, and divine dominion.
