Prayer Declarations on Family, Children, Family Covenants and Patterns


1. Declaration of God’s Covenant Over My Family

I declare that my family is established on the everlasting covenant of God through Christ Jesus. Every negative covenant made in ignorance or by ancestors is nullified by the blood of Jesus. We are aligned with God’s covenant of blessing, peace, and salvation.

Genesis 17:7 – “I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come.”


2. Declaration of Blessings Over My Children

I declare that my children are blessed, favored, and set apart for God’s glory. They shall be taught of the Lord, filled with wisdom, and become mighty in the land. No weapon fashioned against them will prosper.

Isaiah 54:13 – “All your children will be taught by the LORD, and great will be their peace.”


3. Declaration of Breaking Generational Curses

I declare that every evil family pattern, curse, or limitation operating in my lineage is broken in the name of Jesus. From today, my family walks in freedom, blessings, and divine favor.

Galatians 3:13 – “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us.”


4. Declaration of Godly Family Patterns

I declare that my family shall be known for righteousness, integrity, and godliness. We will not repeat the errors of past generations; instead, we will establish new godly legacies for generations to come.

Joshua 24:15 – “But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”


5. Declaration of Protection Over Family

I declare divine protection over my household. No sickness, tragedy, premature death, or calamity shall come near our dwelling. We are secured under the covering of the blood of Jesus.

Psalm 91:10–11 – “No harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”


6. Declaration of Fruitfulness and Increase

I declare that my family is fruitful in every area – spiritually, financially, materially, and relationally. My children will grow and excel, and my household will experience divine increase and multiplication.

Genesis 1:28 – “God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.’”


7. Declaration of Restoration of Family Foundations

I declare that the Lord restores every broken foundation in my family. Whatever the enemy stole in past generations – health, wealth, unity, or peace – is restored sevenfold by the power of God.

Isaiah 58:12 – “You will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.”


8. Declaration of Generational Blessings

I declare that generational blessings flow in my lineage. My children and their children will rise higher, shine brighter, and live more gloriously than I. The covenant of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob rests upon my family.

Psalm 112:2 – “Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.”


9. Declaration Against Evil Altars

I declare that every evil altar raised against my family’s progress is destroyed by the fire of the Holy Spirit. Only the altar of God’s covenant shall speak over my household.

Judges 6:25 – “Tear down your father’s altar to Baal and cut down the Asherah pole beside it.”


10. Declaration of Family Unity and Peace

I declare that my family is united in love, peace, and understanding. The enemy will not sow division or discord among us. Together we will serve the Lord in harmony and joy.

Colossians 3:14–15 – “And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.”
